About the Program
Generate Upcycle Cares is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit created to provide emergency assistance and disaster relief to employees of Upcycle and their immediate family members in the U.S., Canada, and the UK. The initiative aims to support colleagues experiencing temporary difficulties and in need of short-term financial aid.

Program Details
Generate Upcycle Cares is funded through Generate Upcycle. Requests for funding are accepted on a rolling basis and are reviewed monthly by a selection committee made up of Upcycle employees appointed by the board of directors. Funding is for short-term, one-time expenses only. Example situations include but are not limited to, natural disasters, domestic abuse, help with medical costs or other emergency expenses. Prior to consideration, applications are reviewed for completeness by Human Resources. All personal identifying information listed in the application is removed to ensure confidentiality.
